September 2013
Four star observers from Riesa had at the end of September the chance to visit the nuclear research center CERN in Switzerland. There they could visit different experiments and get an impression of the technique of this institution. The visit at the LHC circle (Large Hadronen Collider) in a depth of 136 meters was the highlight of this trip. With a length of 27 kilometers it is the largest collider in the world. This was a really stunning experience.
